Boris's Return For A One Night Stay

Tail Wags, Garden Adventures, & Endless Kisses: Welcoming Back Boris! 🐾❤️

There’s nothing quite like the feeling of a familiar face bounding through our doors—and this week, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming back one of our favorite guests: the one and only Boris! Even though it was just a quick one-night sleepover, Boris made sure to make every single second count from the moment he arrived.

A Grand Entrance Full of Energy & Kisses

Boris arrived in the evening, practically bursting with excitement! The moment he stepped inside, his tail was going a mile a minute. He greeted us like old friends, showering us with boundless energy, warm hugs, and plenty of happy doggy kisses.

It’s moments like these that remind us why we love what we do—there’s truly no better welcome!

Cozy Night In & Morning Routines

After an evening of play and catching up, it was time to wind down. Boris spent the night upstairs with us, sleeping like a total angel.

Bright and early the next morning, he gave us a gentle nudge to let us know it was time for his morning potty break. Naturally, we obliged right away! Boris trotted straight out into the garden to inspect his kingdom. He made a beeline for his absolute favorite spots—especially his go-to bush at the back of the garden. Some habits never change, and we love him for it!

Beating the Heat: Keeping Our Pups Cool & Safe ☀️🐶

With the summer sun beaming down and temperatures rising, summer safety is our top priority at Hound’s Hotel.

While Boris would happily spend all day exploring his favorite garden spots, we keep a very close eye on the thermometer. High heat can quickly become overwhelming for dogs, so we limit outdoor play to short, frequent outings during hot weather. This ensures Boris gets all his garden sniffs and outdoor fun without any risk of overheating!

Short stays are always bittersweet because the time flies by so fast, but having Boris back with us was a total joy.
