🐶 Day 1 of 11: Welcome to Hounds Hotels, Bear! 🐾
Look who just bounded through our doors! Meet Bear, our adorable 6-month-old Bernedoodle, who arrived today as a total bundle of happy, bouncy energy!
Bear definitely came prepared for the ultimate staycation—he arrived with a massive stash of delicious goodies (including rabbit ears and chewies galore!) plus a whole mountain of his favorite toys to keep him busy.
Here is a quick look at how his very first day went:
Mid-Morning Brunch: Bear joined us for brunch and got a special taste test of some of his special rabbit's ear Safe to say, it got a 10/10 rating from the pup.
Afternoon Squeak Test: We spent the afternoon testing out his entire toy collection to uncover the ultimate mystery: which ones squeak the loudest? (Spoiler: most of them!).
Post-Play Power Nap: After all that excitement, Bear found the absolute coolest spot in the entire hotel—right in the middle of the hallway corridor—for a well-deserved afternoon snooze. 😴

🐊 Day 2 of 11: Kisses, Crocs & River Adventures! 🐾
After a slightly reluctant bedtime last night (who wants to sleep when there’s so much fun to be had?!), Bear was up at the very crack of dawn today! He made sure to wake us up the absolute best way possible—with a giant mountain of morning kisses and cuddles. 🥱💋
Once he was officially awake, he didn't waste a single second and made an immediate beeline straight for his favorite crocodile toy (just look at him taking good care of it in the photo above! 📸🐊).
Here’s what’s on the agenda for our handsome 6-month-old Bernedoodle today:
Morning Routine: Croc playtime, cuddle sessions, and showing off his endless morning energy.
Evening Plans: As soon as the temperature cools down later today, we’re heading out for a lovely long walk down to the river! 🌊
Wildlife Watching: Bear is going to get his very first look at the local ducks, geese, and swans. We can't wait to see his reaction to the feather family! 🦆🦢

🏃♂️ Day 3 of 11: The Great Garden Escape & Evening Walkies! 🐾
Day 3 with our favorite 6-month-old Bernedoodle, and Bear has officially introduced us to his new favorite morning sport: The "Can't Catch Me!" Championship. 🏆
First thing this morning, when we let him out to do his business, Bear decided a simple potty break was far too boring. Instead, he initiated a high-stakes game of chase! His exact strategy?
Step 1: Dash across the lawn at full speed.
Step 2: Flop down dramatically in the cool grass.
Step 3: Wait until we crept within arm's reach...
Step 4: ZOOM! Off he goes again! 💨
We tried everything—even bringing out the elite-tier treats—but Bear was completely unbribable. He was having the absolute time of his life keeping us on our toes!
Later this evening, once the sun sets and the temperature drops, we're taking this energetic boy out for a extra long walk. The goal? To finally tire out this clever pup (though after his morning workout, we think he might be tiring us out!).

🍗 Day 4 of 11: Morning Workouts, BBQ Snacks & River Trips! 🐾
Four days in, and we’ve officially adapted to "Bear Time"—which starts at the absolute crack of dawn! ⏰🌅
Our little 6-month-old Bernedoodle has perfected his daily alarm clock routine: a high-speed sprint straight up the stairs to start the morning with maximum enthusiasm. There’s just one tiny catch... Bear has mastered going up the stairs, but going down? Not quite yet!
He hasn't quite built up the confidence to brave the steps down on his own, which means he gets his very own VIP elevator service—a full lift courtesy of us. And let's just say, at six months old, this handsome Bernedoodle is turning into a seriously heavy boy! Who needs a gym membership when you have a daily puppy lift? 💪🐶

BBQ Time: We’re firing up the BBQ this afternoon! Don't worry, Bear will be right by our side ensuring full quality control on all puppy-safe treats. 🌭
River Walk Part 2: Once the heat settles down, we're heading back out for another adventure by the river for more fresh air and wildlife watching! 🌊🦆
Life is never boring with this sweet, heavy bundle of joy around! 🐾❤️
🚀 Day 5 of 11: We Have Liftoff! (And Goodbye Morning Arm Workouts!) 🐾
Major milestone alert! 🎉 Day 5 at Hounds Hotels and our 6-month-old Bernedoodle has officially achieved stair-master status!
No more VIP elevator service needed—Bear has officially mastered navigating both UP and DOWN the stairs all on his own! 🏆 While our arms might miss the heavy-pup workout, we couldn't be prouder of this brave boy for finding his confidence.
Here’s how the rest of our day unfolded:
Dawn Alarm & Garden Games: Bear kicked off the morning bright and early with his signature morning wake-up call. We spent the early hours in the garden playing a hybrid game of Hide & Seek mixed with another spirited round of Catch-Me-If-You-Can! 🏃♂️💨
Hotel Chill Sessions: After burning off that initial burst of energy, Bear took some time to relax and lounge around Hounds Hotels like the true VIP guest he is. 🛋️
A Whole Lot of Character: Bear has fully come out of his shell now, and his personality is shining so bright! He’s a total character. We’ve even grown fond of his funny little affectionate habit: lick, lick, bite, bite (well, much more gentle puppy nibbles than actual bites!). 👅🐶
We are absolutely loving having this smart, goofy boy with us. Halfway through his 11-day stay, and he’s truly stolen our hearts! ❤️🐾
👟 Day 6 of 11: Pranks, Post Delivery & Tail-Chasing Shenanigans! 🐾
Day 6 at Hounds Hotels started on a high note—we actually got a little bit of a sleep-in today! 🎉 However, our clever 6-month-old Bernedoodle clearly decided that if we were sleeping, he was going to turn into a full-time interior decorator (or prankster!).
When we finally got downstairs, we discovered Bear had spent his quiet morning re-organizing our wardrobe. He’d carefully relocated several items of clothing around the house, including sneaking off with a trainer! 👟 It was a bit testy trying to hunt down matching shoes in the morning, but you just can't stay mad at that sweet face for long.
The mischief didn't stop there, either:
The Express Postal Service: Bear tried his paw at being the hotel mailman today! He proudly picked up the morning post and carried it all the way into the lounge. Highly impressive... right up until he decided to shred one of the letters! 🗞️ (Luckily, no harm done—it was just an junk circular anyway. Good boy, Bear!).
Pure Affection: Mischief aside, Bear is the absolute sweetest, most loving pup. He’s been showering us with endless cuddles, sweet puppy licks, and affection all day long. 🥹❤️
The Tail Chase: He’s also unlocked a new comedy routine: chasing his own tail in circles! It is utterly hilarious to watch. We are actively trying to catch this ridiculous moment on camera, so watch this space! 📸🌀
Past the halfway mark now, and Bear continues to keep us entertained every single minute! 🐾✨
🧺 Day 7 of 11: Laundry "Assistance" & Beat-the-Heat Fun! 🐾
Week one with Bear is officially complete! 🥳 Day 7 started bright and early as usual for our sweet 6-month-old Bernedoodle, but Mother Nature brought another scorching hot day our way.
Because of the high temperatures, we kept Bear’s safety and comfort as top priority. We restricted his garden playtime to short, fun bursts outside so our fluffy boy wouldn't overheat. ☀️🌡️
Since he had to spend more time indoors, Bear naturally looked for new ways to make himself useful... with hilarious results:
The Laundry "Helper": Bear decided to try his paw at house chores today by helping us with the laundry! 🧺 While we appreciate the enthusiasm, receiving a fresh pile of clothes coated in a layer of puppy slobber slightly defeats the whole point of washing them. It's the thought that counts, right? 🤤🐶
Beat-the-Heat Chill Time: Between his short outdoor zooms, Bear enjoyed plenty of indoor air-conditioned lounge time to stay nice and cool.
Evening Park Adventure: Now that the sun is finally setting and the air is cooling down, we’re taking Bear out for a long-awaited walk to the local park! A fresh change of scenery (and plenty of new sniffs) is just what this energetic boy needs. 🌳🐾
Only 4 days left of Bear's holiday—we're soaking up every single hilarious, slobbery second! ❤️✨
Day 8 of 11: Gentle Giant Meets Tiny Bark-Box! 🐾
Day 8 at Hounds Hotels kicked off at the crack of dawn, as usual—and honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way! Bear gave us the sweetest wake-up call with a fresh round of morning kisses and cuddles. 💋🥹
Once he was officially up, our 6-month-old Bernedoodle went straight to work on his morning toy routine. Today, his plush dog toy took the brunt of his puppy aggression! Poor toy—we had to remind him: "Play nice with your friends, Bear!" 🧸💥

Beat-the-Heat Lounging: With another warm day, Bear spent the sunny hours chilling indoors, napping, and saving up his energy for the evening.
The Sunset Stroll: Once the sun finally went down and the pavement cooled off, we took Bear out for a lovely late-evening walk. 🌅
The Jack Russell Standoff: On our walk, Bear had a hilarious encounter with a very loud, very fiery Jack Russell barking behind a fence. How did our giant Bernedoodle react? Did he bark back? Did he run? Nope! Bear simply flopped down on the ground and calmly watched the tiny bark-box like it was a live comedy show. 🧘♂️🐶
Bear's calm, chill vibe is unmatched (even when faced with an angry little neighbor!). Three days left of his holiday, and he keeps surprising us every day! 🐾❤️
🌀 Day 9 of 11: World, Meet the Tail-Chaser! (Plus Video!) 🐾
Happy Friday! We’ve officially hit the final weekend of Bear’s stay with us at Hounds Hotels, and we are holding onto every moment with this sweet boy!

We can't believe his stay is almost over! We're going to make his final weekend at Hounds Hotels the best one yet. 🐾❤️
😴 Day 10 of 11: Lazy Saturdays & Sunset Park Trips! 🐾
Penultimate day blues are setting in! We can’t believe Day 10 is already here, but after a action-packed, high-energy week, today was all about well-deserved rest and relaxation. 🥱✨
We all enjoyed a much-needed later start this morning, and Bear was more than happy to roll with the slow-paced Saturday vibes!
Here’s how our sweet 6-month-old Bernedoodle spent his quiet day:
Morning Toy Sessions: Bear kept himself happily entertained inside, pottering around with his endless toy collection (and making sure they stayed nicely scattered!). 🧸
Garden Patrol: He took several lazy trips out into the garden to sniff the fresh air and keep an eye on his butterfly friends. 🦋🌿
Rest & Recharge: Lots of cozy afternoon naps to save up his energy for the main event! 💤
Now that the sun is starting to lose its power and the evening air is cooling down, we’re heading out to the local park for a lovely sunset stroll. 🌅 Park sniffs, cool grass, and a long walk—the absolute best way to wrap up the weekend!
Hard to believe tomorrow is his final day with us at Hounds Hotels. We're going to soak up every last minute! 🐾❤️

🥹 Day 11 of 11: Fetch Master, Zoomie Champion & The Fondest Farewell 🐾
The day we’ve been dreading has arrived—it's our final full day and night with our beloved Bear at Hounds Hotels! 💔 We truly cannot believe how quickly these 11 days have flown by, but what an absolute joy it’s been.
Our 6-month-old Bernedoodle made sure to make every second count today, starting off the morning in the absolute best way: a giant wave of kisses and cuddles all before breakfast even hit the bowl. 💋🥣
Here is how our handsome boy spent his grand finale:
Fetch Level UNLOCKED! ⚾: After breakfast, we played ball with Bear and he officially revealed a brand-new skill: he’s mastered fetch! He now scurries off like lightning to retrieve the ball and proudly drops it right at your feet. What a clever boy! 🏆
The Ultimate Catch-Me-If-You-Can: In the afternoon, we played one last epic round of "Catch-Me-If-You-Can." The rules were simple: try to tag Bear as he bolts past you at Mach 5! 💨 It was so fast-paced and hilarious that it completely wiped out Bear and the Hounds Hotels owners! Safe to say, no extra long walk was needed tonight! 😂💤
We have thoroughly enjoyed every single second of Bear's 11-day holiday. He is a truly wonderful dog with a giant personality to match his handsome looks. From stair-master victories and postal shredding to sunset walks and slobbery laundry "help," he has filled the hotel with so much laughter and affection.
Bear, you will be deeply missed! We hope you have the absolute best reunion with your family tomorrow, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to Hounds Hotels real soon! 🐾❤️
