The weekend is officially here, and we have a very special guest hanging out with us at Hounds Hotels. Everyone, meet Kato!

From the moment he stepped through our doors, we knew it was going to be a fantastic stay. Here is a look at how Kato conquered Day One of his weekend vacation.

Making Himself at Home 🐾

Some dogs take a minute to adjust to a new environment, but not Kato. He arrived and quickly settled right down, showing us all how a true pro does a staycation. It wasn’t long before he was soaking up some seriously sweet cuddles from our friend inside. Let’s just say he’s already mastered the art of getting pampered!

Garden Vibes & Grass Chillin’

Once he was fully recharged from his welcome cuddles, we headed outdoors. We spent the entire afternoon out in the garden, and it was pure bliss.

Playtime: We had a blast watching him run around and express his playful side.

Relaxation: After burning off some energy, we just sat on the grass with him, enjoying the fresh air and the peaceful company. Kato definitely knows how to enjoy the simple pleasures.

Park Time Adventure 🌳

As the afternoon started to wind down, it was time for the ultimate doggy favorite: walkies! We clipped on the leash and took Kato out to the local park. He loved exploring all the sights, sniffing out new trails, and stretching his legs.

What’s Next?

We aren't entirely sure what adventures are on the agenda for tomorrow just yet—we're just going to follow Kato's lead! But one thing is for absolute certain: we are having the best time with this wonderful boy, and we can't wait for another day of fun.

Saturday is in full swing here at Hounds Hotels, and Kato is showing us exactly how to live weekend life to the absolute fullest. After a great night's sleep, he was ready to seize the day!

Rise and Shine! ☀️

Kato is definitely an early bird! He woke up bright and early this morning, full of happy energy and immediately letting us know he was ready to head outside. We couldn't resist that eager face, so we geared up for a special morning itinerary.

The Scenic Route to the River

Instead of our usual quick morning loop, we decided to treat Kato to a mini adventure. We took him the scenic way down to the river, enjoying the quiet morning air and beautiful views.

He absolutely loved checking out the sights and smells along the waterfront. It was the perfect way to kick off Saturday.

A Model Citizen 🏅

The real highlight of the morning, though, was how incredibly well-behaved Kato was on the trek home. On our way back, we crossed paths with another dog who was off their lead.

Situations like that can sometimes be distracting for a pup, but Kato was as good as gold. He didn't lose his focus for a second, stayed perfectly calm, and just continued to walk right on past like a total professional. We were so proud of him!

Post-Adventure Chill

After such a big morning march, Kato definitely worked up a thirst. The moment we arrived back at the hotel, he drank vigorously from his water bowl to rehydrate.

With a full belly and a happy heart, he did what he does best: settled right back down for some well-deserved afternoon cuddles.
