The Return of Our Most Loyal Resident: Boris!

​It is a joy to have Boris the Bedlington Terrier back with us for an extended stay. He really is our most loyal resident, and having him around is always a treat.

​Sunshine and Strolls

​We started the day the best way possible: an early morning walk in the glorious sunshine. Boris was an absolute gentleman. Even when the local dogs barked at him, he remained calm and remarkably well-behaved.

​Of course, he had to handle important business along the way. Boris made sure to visit his favorite lampposts, leaving his scent to let the neighborhood know: "Boris was here!" :0)

​A Strong Message Received

​Later in the day, Boris had to hold the fort on his own while we popped out for an appointment we simply couldn't rearrange (owners gave us permission). It seems Boris took exception to this brief absence!

​Upon our return, we discovered that he had somehow managed to pull down both his treats and his dry food, scattering them across the floor. It was definitely a strong message from Boris: "Don't leave me home alone again!"

​All is Forgiven

​Despite the culinary chaos, it didn’t take long for the tension to melt away. After giving us a few classic sheepish looks, Boris settled right down. He made up for the mess with plenty of love and kisses, reminding us exactly why we love having him stay.
