Hello, Hounds Hotels! Kato Has Arrived!

What a wonderful start to the weekend! The minute Kato trotted through the door, he brought an explosion of joyful energy with him. He arrived bouncing and absolutely delighted to see us—and we were just as thrilled to welcome this happy dog into the Hounds family for the weekend!

After an exciting arrival, we helped Kato settle into his comfortable room. And while he quickly made himself at home, the mischievous side of his personality couldn't stay hidden for long! We had a good chuckle as he decided to take on the roles of both 'bin investigator' (pulling wrappers out like buried treasure!) and 'sock monster' (launching playful attacks on any stray sock he could find!). It's safe to say he kept us on our toes with his playful antics during his settling-in period!

🌳 Adventure Time and Ultimate Relaxation 😌

To burn off some of that incredible enthusiasm, we leashed up for a lovely afternoon walk. Kato explored the sights and smells with gusto, enjoying his first taste of the local area.

When we got back, the transformation was immediate and completely heart-melting. All that high-octane energy gave way to pure, unadulterated affection. Kato immediately sought out the nearest person for a serious session of cuddles. He melted into a blissful puddle of fur, requesting, and receiving, many well-deserved belly strokes!

It’s clear that our first day together has been a perfect mix of playful mischief and deep relaxation. We’re so glad Kato is spending the weekend with us, and we can’t wait to see what adventures tomorrow brings!

Sunday Strolls and Cozy Snoozes

Good morning, everyone! We're back with the latest update on our very happy guest, Kato, on his second day here at Hounds Hotels.

Today was all about enjoying the beautiful countryside! We took Kato out for a lovely, long walk this morning, heading straight for the picturesque Pangbourne Meadow. The weather was crisp and the air was refreshing—a perfect setting for a Sunday adventure!

Kato was in his element. The meadow offered a spectacular array of new scents, and he was completely engrossed, keeping his nose glued to the ground and enthusiastically exploring every bush and patch of grass. His mission was clearly to log every interesting smell!

🏡 Mission: Get Back to Warmth! 🔥

After a great time sniffing and exploring, the temperature must have dropped just enough, because on the walk back, Kato had a new goal in mind! He happily took the lead, charting a very direct course straight back toward the warmth of Hounds Hotels. It's safe to say he was ready for some indoor comfort after his big morning out!

And what better way to recover from an invigorating walk than a well-deserved nap?

As soon as we returned, Kato made a beeline for his room. He settled down instantly in his cozy basket and drifted off for a wonderfully long and peaceful sleep. From mischievous sock-attacker yesterday to peaceful snoozer today, Kato is clearly making the most of his relaxing weekend stay!

Just one more night until Kato heads home, but we'll make sure he enjoys every last minute!
