Bridie's stay for 8 days

Bridie's Stay Diary

We recieved a call from a Owner of a Boxer female dog called Bridie,  who quickly wanted to arrange a place for her pet to stay for 8 days.  We were delighted to accept and met Bridie and her owners on Thursday 16th August at short notice.   Below is a short blog showing pictures and a diary of Bridie's stay so we can all see this beautiful dog.

DAY 1

We were up early with Bridie, fed her breakfast  and took her for a quick walk to town,  where she was well behaved.  Upon passing other dogs Bridie was perfect and responded well on her lead.  Bridie came home, got a treat and relaxed in the house, watching TV and keeping us company.

In the afternoon we gave Bridie a ball and played fetch, where Bridie came up with a game hide the ball!.

One more walk in the afternoon,  back for dinner and we all went to sleep as we were all up early.

In the evening Bridie settled down with us and watched a Wolf documentary, paying close attention to her Ancestors.

After dinner and a quick run around the garden we introduced a new game called Kong, which is a game where the dog knocks a ball onto another ball,  Bridie is in training and is very good at knocking the ball on with her paw.

Up early in the morning as Bridie is a new alarm clock for us,  fed her breakfast and afterwards she played in the garden for a short time.

I'm the afternoon Bridie decided to take a nap with a houndshotels owner,  I managed to get a photo of Bridie patiently waiting for her dinner.

During our penultimate evening with Bridie we walked her and came back home and played where's the ball.  See below,  Bridie is still in training for Kong.  I will release the rules for this game on houndshotels.co.uk, so watch this space.

DAY 7

I'm the morning we were woken up by a wet nose sniffing on our faces,  feeling sad this morning as it's the last full day we will have Bridie's company,  below is a picture of her in the kitchen.

Bridie polished off her last wet food tonight,  below is a picture of her doing that.

DAY 8

The owners came over and picked up Bridie in the morning,  we had enough time to feed and play where's the ball.  We are going to miss Bridie,  she is a character and brought a lot of love to Hounds Hotels.  Bridie left with the Kong ball, so I hope she continues her training.
